As a region administrator, I was responsible for day-to-day engineering company operations, supervision of personnel and projects, and executive supervisory management of four offices in a three state region. I was also responsible for managing and coordinating the firm’s in-house services and engineering project management using Deltek VISION financial and project management software and other engineering computer applications; coordinating and providing training for various engineering programs; conducting presentations, and executive management of the company’s Information Technology department. Twelve-month advance project revenue budgeting on a bi-annual budgeting cycle and coordinating the budgets for four primary engineering departments was a specialty.
I have 40 years of consulting engineering experience in highway and structural design and have been responsible for project management and coordinating design personnel, producing structure design and construction plans, and conducting shop-drawing reviews. Design and detailing experience includes cast-in-place concrete bridges and retaining walls, precast concrete bridges, structural steel bridges and the substructure for precast concrete segmental box beam bridges. My project experience has included both new structures and rehabilitation design for existing structures.
